I grew up in a small town outside of Syracuse (Brewerton) in Central New York where my father owned an insurance brokerage. He was always there to answer his client’s questions if we were in the grocery store or having a family dinner out. He took care of people in our small community by helping them with their insurance needs. Since obtaining my insurance license after graduate school in 1999, I have tried to bring that same small town level of service to my clients. I started in the insurance industry working with Medicare and Long Term Care, then spent some time with employee benefits. I had the amazing opportunity to travel throughout the contry and train sales agents and managers on products for a large insurance carrier. Then, I consulted with major hospital systems around the country on their employee benefit programs. After having 2 children (which makes travelling a bit challenging!); I watched my own parents struggle with their options for Medicare and decided that I would concentrate my efforts on helping people with this important decision. I have earned a reputation for being a professional, honest and ethical insurance agent. Most clients end up referring me to a friend, which is the highest compliment I can receive!
